How to Delete Your Account

We offer two secure methods to request the permanent deletion of your kaar4u account:

Self-Serve Instantly

Submit via Email

Send an email request from your registered email address to privacy@kaar4u.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

What Data is Permanently Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove or anonymize all data associated with your profile to ensure your right to be forgotten. This includes:

Personal Information: Your name, registered email address, phone number, encrypted password, and profile avatar.
Vehicle Listings: All your published active listings, pending approvals, and car drafts are permanently taken down.
Buyer Queries & History: All buyer queries, chat histories with potential buyers/sellers, and communication logs.
Bookmarks & Preferences: Your saved cars, custom search filters, notifications, and custom configurations.

Data Retention & Grace Period

30-Day Recovery Grace Period

Upon submitting a deletion request, your account is immediately deactivated and ceases to be visible publicly. We keep your data in a secure, deactivated state for a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind during this period, you can contact our support team to reactivate your account.

After the 30-day grace period, all your personal data is permanently purged from our active databases. Any isolated system backups containing your information will be fully overwritten within a maximum of 90 days.
